Who controls your data

Your school is the controller of the education records in Onshore Educate AI. Onshore Tech Consultants operates the App and its servers as the school's service provider, under contract with them, consistent with applicable student-privacy law (including FERPA where it applies).

What the App collects

• Account data: your name, email/username, and school role, provided by your school; sign-in records (time, device type).
• Coursework data: your enrolled courses, assignments, submissions, grades, lesson progress and any classroom participation.
• Diagnostics: crash and error logs, which may include your user ID and the screen where an error occurred. No submission contents are included.

The App does not collect your location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers, and contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

How it's used

Only to provide the student portal: authenticating you, showing your courses and coursework, delivering class join links, and keeping the service secure and working. Your data is not sold or used for advertising.

Storage and security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on Onshore-operated servers in the United States. Access is limited to your school and to Onshore personnel who need it to run or support the service.

Retention

Education records are retained per your school's records policy and applicable law. Diagnostic logs are kept up to 90 days.

Your choices

• Access / correction: contact your school, or support@onshoretech.ai.
• Deletion: request it from Settings → Delete account. Records the school must retain are kept per their policy.

Children

The App is provided through schools. Where students are under 13, the school provides the consent required under COPPA on the parent's behalf, acting as the school's agent.
